You were created to create
Because you bear His name, God has placed ideas, solutions, businesses, ministries, and meaningful work within you to bring to the world.
But He never intended for your faith and your work to exist in separate spaces. What you build should be an expression of your obedience to Him. And you were never meant to build apart from God or carry the vision alone.
God created us to need one another. We need people who can share wisdom, make connections, open doors, offer encouragement, challenge our thinking, and help move the work forward. God gives the vision, but He often uses people to help bring it to life.
What happens at The Bridge?
Wisdom for women who are building, leading, and living their faith out loud.
Every gathering begins with prayer and a 15-minute, Scripture-rooted marketplace lesson.
Together, we explore how biblical wisdom shapes the way we build, lead, steward, serve, and make decisions.
Every woman comes prepared with up to three clear, specific asks.
Your asks name real areas where support could help move what you’re building forward.
You’ll be ready to say what you need—and what meaningful help could actually look like.
No awkwardly walking around wondering who to talk to.
Five guided Connection Rounds give every woman the opportunity to be seen and heard.
You’ll share what you’re building, what you need, and what you bring to the room. We create the structure; you come ready to connect.
Intentional connection with purpose
The Bridge isn’t about collecting business cards, perfecting an elevator pitch, or meeting people just to say you met them.
Instead of only asking “What do you do?” we’re making room for better questions: What are you building? What do you need? How can I serve?
Know what you’re building and where support could help. Your ask might be for prayer, a helpful resource, a connection, or someone to review your work.
Listen intentionally. Bring your expertise, relationships, resources, encouragement, connections, and prayers into the room.
You aren’t only coming to find someone who can help you. You’re also entering the room prepared to help move someone else forward.
When King Artaxerxes asked Nehemiah what he wanted, Nehemiah had prayed, understood the need, and was prepared to ask. That principle inspired the Nehemiah Wall.

The room opens
After the Connection Rounds, continue the conversations that matter.
Continue a conversation, make an introduction, or meet someone new.
Read the Ask Cards and notice where your experience or relationships may help.
Take a card only when you genuinely have the capacity to follow through.
Every ask deserves the opportunity to be seen. Remaining asks can be shared after the gathering so connection and service can continue beyond the room.
Commit & Pray
Women can share a commitment they’ve made, an Ask Card they’ve taken, or something meaningful that happened in the room. Then we pray together.
The goal isn’t to leave with the most contacts. It’s to leave with meaningful connections—and a clear commitment to follow through.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or have reached a certain level of success. If you’re building, leading, creating, serving, or stewarding something God has placed in your hands, there’s a seat for you at The Bridge.

The Bridge was created by Walking in Obedience + We Read the Room, bringing spiritual grounding and business strategy into one intentional gathering.

Yes—but not in the traditional sense. The Bridge uses structured networking to create intentional conversations. The focus isn’t collecting contacts, working the room, or pitching your business. It’s about building relationships, communicating your needs clearly, and identifying genuine opportunities to serve one another.
No. The Bridge is for Christian women actively building in the marketplace, including entrepreneurs, ministry and nonprofit leaders, professionals, creatives, authors, community leaders, and women stewarding other God-given work.
Know what you’re building and come prepared with up to three clear, actionable asks. You’ll use those asks during the Connection Rounds and on the Nehemiah Wall.
Bring yourself, your prepared asks, business cards or contact information if you have them, and a genuine willingness to serve. We’ll provide the materials needed for the Nehemiah Ask System.
The Nehemiah Wall is a physical display of Ask Cards organized into six categories: Expertise, Connection, Prayer, Promotion, Research, and Accountability. Taking a card represents an intention to follow through.
No. Service at The Bridge is voluntary. We want women to make commitments they genuinely have the capacity and desire to fulfill. Don’t leave with more cards than commitments.
Your ask still matters. Remaining Ask Cards are collected after the gathering and can be shared with attendees in a follow-up directory. Someone may encounter the right person, resource, or opportunity later.

No. The Bridge is independent and welcomes Christian women from different church backgrounds.
The Bridge is specifically designed for women who are already building and can arrive prepared with clear asks. If you’re still discerning what God is calling you toward, a faith-centered discernment community may be the better starting place.
